Cebu IT Park Gossip Chronicle Volume 1 Issue 58
The lights are bright, the crosswalks are dramatic, and Cebu IT Park has once again delivered enough after-shift emotion to power every coffee machine from eBloc to The Walk. After last week’s buffalo-sauce peace talks, umbrella custody drama, and the condo lobby lily that refused to mind its own business, our little concrete kingdom has entered a new era: everyone is acting calm, which means absolutely nobody is calm.
This is fiction, mga marites. Every person here is invented, every romance is exaggerated, and every whispered scandal is served for entertainment only. Real places are just the glittering backdrop. Now open your imaginary fan and lean closer.
The Buffalo Sauce Treaty Gets a Side Order of Pride
At Ayala Malls Central Bloc, the ongoing sauce diplomacy allegedly gained a new chapter when “Mika,” “Jules,” and the mysterious new lunch companion known only as “Blue Cap” were spotted at a reopened wing spot, negotiating over fries like they were dividing islands.
Witnesses say “Mika” arrived first, looking like a woman who had rehearsed three speeches and deleted two from her Notes app. “Jules” came in seven minutes later holding a paper bag that may or may not have contained apology pastries. Then “Blue Cap” slid into the booth with the confidence of a man who thinks sharing napkins counts as emotional labor.
The tension reportedly peaked when the table ordered two kinds of sauce: one sweet, one spicy. According to a nearby fictional observer, “Mika” reached for the spicy one first, “Jules” said, “You still like that?” and “Blue Cap” muttered, “People change.”
Ay, the room froze.
No plates were thrown. No dramatic walkout occurred. But when “Mika” smiled and said, “Some people only change their captions,” even the fries reportedly lost heat. The treaty survives, but only barely, and one leftover wing was packed to-go with the energy of unfinished business.
Elevator Silence at eBloc Tower 3
Over at eBloc Tower 3, the elevator network has entered its most cinematic season yet. “Nico,” a night-shift team lead with permanently tired eyes and suspiciously neat hair, was allegedly seen sharing an elevator with “Aya,” the queen of unread messages and lavender perfume.
The problem? Also inside: “Kenji,” the soft-spoken coffee-run regular who once lent “Aya” a power bank and never emotionally recovered.
Sources say nobody spoke for twelve floors. The only sound was the elevator chime and the tiny betrayal of someone’s phone vibrating inside a tote bag. When the doors opened, “Aya” stepped out first. “Nico” followed. “Kenji” stayed behind one extra second, pretending to check the floor number like he had not just watched his entire delulu calendar collapse.
But here is where it gets delicious. Five minutes later, “Kenji” appeared near the lobby café and ordered an iced Americano with two extra shots. Not for himself, according to our fictional coffee counter spirit, but for “someone who knows what she did.”
Was it petty? Was it poetic? Was it just caffeine? In Cebu IT Park, those are the same thing.
The Garden Bloc Picnic Flex Turns Beige Again
The picnic-inspired social scene around Garden Bloc continues to attract influencers, almost-influencers, and people who say “content” when they mean “please notice me.” This week’s main character is “Trixie Mae,” who allegedly staged a sunset picnic with a beige blanket, beige basket, beige drink, beige outfit, and one very non-beige argument.
The plan was simple: soft launch a mysterious admirer without showing his face. The execution was less simple because the admirer, known only as “R,” reportedly arrived wearing the same watch seen in another woman’s mirror selfie last month.
Our fictional witnesses say “Trixie Mae” tried to keep smiling while filming a slow pan of pastries, flowers, and two untouched drinks. Then her friend “Lala” leaned in and whispered something that changed the weather. Suddenly the camera went down, the pastries were covered, and “R” began explaining with the hand gestures of a man who had practiced lies in traffic.
The funniest part? The final post still went up. Caption: “Peace looks good on me.” Comments were limited within six minutes.
By nightfall, someone had uploaded a blurred story of the beige blanket folded like evidence. No accusations, no names, just vibes. The beige era is wounded, but not dead.
The Condo Lobby Lily Finally Gets a Voice Note
At a nearby condo lobby, believed by our gossip aunties to be somewhere between Avida Towers Riala and the general universe of polished tiles, the famous anonymous lily saga bloomed again. This time the flower came with a small card and, allegedly, a QR code.
The recipient, “Sari,” has been receiving lilies for weeks, each one more dramatic than the last. First no sender. Then a witness. Then a rumor of a wrong elevator delivery. Now, according to invented lobby mythology, the QR code opened a voice note from someone calling himself “the one who waited downstairs.”
The voice was supposedly low, sincere, and just theatrical enough to be dangerous. He said, “I did not send the first flower, but I wish I had.”
Excuse me?
That means the lily scandal may have two senders: the original mystery florist and the opportunistic romantic who saw a trend and entered the chat. “Sari” reportedly listened twice, smiled once, and then asked the front desk if there were cameras facing the delivery table.
A queen does not guess. A queen reviews footage.
Stay Tuned
Next issue, we are watching the buffalo-sauce ceasefire, the eBloc elevator triangle, the beige picnic recovery tour, and the lobby lily investigation now entering its forensic era. Will “Mika” choose spice or silence? Will “Kenji” weaponize another coffee? Will “Trixie Mae” unlimit her comments? And who is the second lily sender?
Cebu IT Park, keep walking fast and pretending not to look. The Chronicle is already looking for you.
