Sauce, selfies, lobby lilies, and one very loud elevator silence

Cebu IT Park Gossip Chronicle Volume 1 Issue 53

The neon is humming again in Cebu IT Park, where iced coffees look innocent, receipts behave like legal documents, and every condo lobby sofa seems to know more than it should. After a week of mall chatter, reopening buzz, and everyone pretending not to watch everyone else, our fictional whisper network returns with sauce stains, soft-launch panic, and one white lily that clearly refuses to retire.

As always, dear readers: every name here is invented, every scandal is entertainment, and the real public places are only the glowing backdrop for our imaginary Cebu soap opera.

The Central Bloc Wing-Sauce Summit

The loudest non-meeting of the week allegedly happened near Ayala Malls Central Bloc, where “Mika,” “Janno,” and “Red-Shoe Rafi” were spotted orbiting a wing table like diplomats with napkins.

Our pretend source, who insists she was “only buying fries” for an extremely investigative forty minutes, says the tension began when Mika slid a sauce cup toward Janno without eye contact. Harmless? Not when Rafi immediately said, “Same flavor again?” in the voice of a man emotionally defeated by condiments.

Janno replied, “It is not about the sauce.”

Darling, in Cebu IT Park, it is always about the sauce.

For seven sticky minutes, the table performed polite chewing, strategic phone checking, and one laugh from Mika that arrived half a second too late. By the exit, Rafi’s red shoes were pointed toward The Walk, Janno was clutching the receipt, and Mika somehow had the last wet wipe.

Breakup? Friendship audit? Spicy sequel? We advise monitoring the napkin supply.

The eBloc Elevator That Refused to Blink

At eBloc Tower 2, a fictional office romance may have reached its most dangerous stage: silent elevator diplomacy.

“Anne-with-an-Evening-Shift” and “Kiko from Floor Nobody-Admits-To” allegedly entered the same elevator at 8:17 p.m., both holding iced coffee, both wearing faces that said this coincidence was absolutely not planned. Unfortunately, the elevator became crowded with workers, delivery riders, and one auntie carrying a cake box with courtroom authority.

Anne and Kiko stood shoulder to shoulder for five floors. On the sixth, Kiko allegedly whispered, “You left your charger.” Anne replied, “You kept it.” The auntie stared straight ahead, but sources insist her eyebrows filed a full incident report.

In the lobby, Kiko offered the charger in a tiny paper bag. Anne did not take it. She only said, “Tomorrow.”

Tomorrow? TOMORROW?

That single word has now been replayed in three fictional group chats, one pantry theory board, and a coffee table near Jose Maria del Mar Street. Some call it closure. Some call it confession. One intern called it “season finale behavior.”

We call it a charger with emotional custody issues.

The Sugbo Mercado Picnic Flex That Folded

Over at Sugbo Mercado, where every table can become a stage if the lighting cooperates, self-declared lifestyle prince “Paxwell” allegedly attempted a picnic-style soft launch with “Lira,” whose expression said sponsored content while her body language said emergency exit.

Paxwell reportedly arrived with a tiny blanket, two lemon drinks, and a tripod tall enough to have ambitions. His plan, according to nearby snack detectives, was a casual “date night in IT Park” reel. The problem? Lira appeared to be reading the caption before the romance had even happened.

Witnesses claim Paxwell kept saying, “Act natural,” while adjusting the drinks by millimeters. Lira finally asked, “Are we eating or auditioning?” A nearby table became suddenly fascinated with barbecue smoke.

The climax came when Paxwell requested a fake candid laugh. Lira gave him one real laugh, stood up, and said, “Post yourself.” Then she walked toward Garden Bloc like a queen leaving a badly lit kingdom.

Paxwell allegedly stayed behind to reshoot the drink clink using both hands.

Influencer romance remains Cebu IT Park’s most unstable currency.

The Condo Lobby Lily Comes With a Witness

And now, the flower that will not stop blooming in our pages: the lobby lily.

At a condo somewhere in the IT Park glow, a white lily appeared at the front desk with a note addressed only to “B.” Last week’s lily had no sender. This week’s lily had something worse: a witness.

“Brix,” a fictional night-shift analyst with excellent posture and terrible timing, allegedly saw “Bela” collect the flower while “Nico,” “Tessa,” and “Small-Bag Carlo” were all within emotional blast radius.

The note reportedly read: “No more lobby games. Rooftop, 10.”

Bela folded the note into her wallet without smiling. Nico pretended to answer a call that never rang. Tessa asked if lilies were “too formal for forgiveness.” Carlo, carrying the smallest sling bag in the province, simply whispered, “It’s him.” Nobody knows which him. That is why Carlo is dangerous.

By 10:06 p.m., three people had gone up, two had come down, and one untouched coffee remained in the lobby like evidence in a rom-com trial.

Stay Tuned

Next issue, we continue tracking the silver tote ceasefire, the charger that became a promise, the sauce cup with diplomatic consequences, and the lily that may finally drag Cebu IT Park’s soft-launch society into daylight.

Until then, keep your receipts dry, your elevator face neutral, and your group chat screenshots properly cropped. Cebu IT Park may sleep in shifts, but the gossip clocks in full-time.
